Essential Facts
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself. We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paint, and an apron and the best music ever.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Some classes are held in licensed venues, so there is no B.Y.O food or drink to those establishments. However any classes held at my Art Studio or held at a hire venues (warehouse spaces) where there are no food or drinks available for purchase. In this circumstances you will be able to B.Y.O and the event will specifically say so. Please check the event listing for details.

What should I wear?
The dress code applies to the venue requirements (mostly casual clothing) You will be provided an aprons at the start of the class. We will be painting in acrylic and when acrylic paint dries, it does not come out of clothing so please wear something you feel comfortable painting in.

What time do I need to arrive for Class?
The class will open 15 minutes beforehand to allow time to mingle before the painting starts. We recommend arriving early to check in and mingle. Class will starts on time.

I am running late to my Class. Can I still come?
Yes; however, please be advised that the class starts on time and we will do our best to get you to catch up so don’t stress.

Most of our venues do have disability access, please check your event listing for information and advise us via email when purchasing your tickets so we know how to cater for you.

What to expect during the class
“I’m not artistic. Will I be able to complete my painting?”
Yes! Our Artist will guide you through every step of the painting and ensure you’re on course to leave the class with a completed work of art. Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.
I have previous painting experience. Are the classes strictly for beginners?
No, some participants come to the classes because it provides easy access to painting supplies and there’s no long-term commitment. Advanced painters are encouraged to come relax and have fun.
Booking in
Is there an age limit for the Classes?
Not as such, although painters who are 12 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/guardian in order to attend public classes. You must be 18 years of age or older to consume alcohol.

Why do you take photos during events?
We use photos from our events for advertising and marketing purposes. By clicking on the Submit Order button, you confirm that you accept Loos Creative Space can take photographs of you and authorize us its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and use the photographs of you with or without your name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.

Do you ever share my contact details
Absolutely No. If you registered for e-Newsletter, then we only use your email address to send you news from Loos Creative Space regarding new classes, special offers, and discounts.
I am in a group or with someone else.
If you are attending with others just send us an email llinda@looscreativespace.com.au and we will ensure that you sit together. If you're coming by yourself let us know and we will make sure you have others to chat with and leave with some new friends.

What happens if I can't make it.
Things happen. We get it. However, we are a small business. When you purchase a ticket to a class, that secures your place and prevents someone else from purchasing those tickets. We expect all our events to sell out and as such, have a strict cancellation policy. Cancellation requests are required to be sent via email only.
